East Gippsland Business Awards 2018

Business & Tourism East Gippsland is very pleased to have all Gold sponsorship categories adopted for this year’s Business Awards and is very appreciative of the four sponsors who have pledged their support again this year.

Janet Burton, Executive Officer to BTEG said that while the same sponsors had signed up again, which is always pleasing, there had been some change in their choice of categories.

Tim Bull, MP, is supporting the Disabled, Aged and/or Family Friendly category in 2018. Tim commented that it is really important that businesses ensure that they are not only physically accessible to all members of our community but that they recognise and respond to the other challenges these groups may have in seeking to procure goods and services. This may mean safe play areas in stores for kids while parents shop; it may mean offering to deliver purchases for the elderly or disabled or taking purchases to their cars. “We are a community that values the contributions and recognises the needs of all groups of people and I am really pleased to be supporting the Disabled, Aged and/or Family Friendly category in this year’s Business Awards.”
Tim said.

The Innovation category is being proudly sponsored this year by REG FM. “At REG FM we recognise the critical role that innovation plays in product development and business success,” said Kym Williams of REG FM, “and this is why we are pleased to be sponsoring the Innovation category in this year’s Business Awards.”

Bairnsdale Trophy Centre, who has supplied the trophies for the Business Awards since their inception, is pleased to be sponsoring the Environmental Sustainability category this year. “Environmental Sustainability is in line with our ethos and our business practices at the Trophy Centre,” said Mark Jones, business owner, “and this why we are delegated to be sponsoring this category in 2018. The Business Awards are a great event that as a local business we are proud to be associated with.”

The fourth Gold category sponsor is V/Line who are once again sponsoring Customer Service.

“At V/Line our staff are committed to providing the highest level of customer service,” said Tim Pianta, V/Line Regional Manager.

“We recognise the importance of supporting local and regional events and this is why we are really pleased to once again sponsor the Federation Business School East Gippsland Business Awards in the category of Customer Service.”

While all Gold categories are now assigned, some Platinum categories remain open for sponsorship. Any businesses interested in the marketing and promotional opportunities that sponsorship offers should contact Janet Burton, Executive Officer, Business & Tourism East Gippsland on 0419 099 968 or bteginfo@gmail.com
